VDOT project
You are the Finance Director for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Governor Terry McAuliffe has mandated a 4% cut in all agency budgets for 2015 to meet the projected state shortfall.
Your task is to make a recommendation to the Director of what
cuts you would make to the $4.3M projected expenditures to
achieve a 4% reduction in spending. You can assume that the
Government will take the surplus that you generate to
replenish the Commonwealth's Rainy Day Fund.
You must be realistic in your plan and provide a
justification to the Director to the ends that you are
suggesting. Your report should be in the form of a Executive
Summary of at least 600 words
